Show #15 (I think) Playlist, etc.

The time has come!” The walrus said…

It’s Tuesday, and we all know what that means. You may not yet know, however, that tonight is the first of about 10 two-hour-shows! So be sure to tune in an hour early (7:00 PM CST) to catch the whole thing. I’ve spent the last week building a really solid playlist, and I’ll throw a couple of random goodies in the bag before I head to the station, too. Look forward to it!

4. Barenaked Ladies – Brian Wilson
5. Nicholas Payton – Tiger Rag
6. The Cat Empire – Sunny Moon
7. Oscar Peterson – Mumbles
8. Super Chikan – You Said
9. Lyle Lovett And His Large Band – All Downhill
10. Hot Hot Heat – Elevator
11. Brian Wilson – God Only Knows
12. Gnarls Barkley – Crazy
13. davidovic – my motorcycle

Hour the second…
14. Oscar Brown Jr. – Brother Where Are You (Matthew Herbert Mix)
15. Supertonic – Lead Me On
16. Frank Zappa – Montana
17. Gutbucket – Carnivore
18. Do Make Say Think – You, You’re Awesome
19. Bob Evans – Courage Of The Morning

  1. Hey Chris, great show! I really like the mix of genres you throw together, and somehow it all seems to work.. go figure! 😉 Nice choice with the Supertonic, btw. I think I enjoy the show more and more every week. Keep up the great tunes!

    • Thanks so much, Tabitha! It’s appreciated.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the show (and really glad you continue to listen)! I’m trying like mad to play some good selections without falling back on too much popular music.

Let me know if you’ve got any requests for next week! 🙂

And yeah… Supertonic rocks! Rocked. Whatever.

  2. Hmm… requests, hey? How about something from John Sykes? I really only know his stuff from the Black Heaven soundtrack (so good!!) but I know he’s made a lot of music over the years. Surprise me? 🙂

And no worries, you’ve struck a good balance!
