Dave Brubeck

Dave Brubeck (December 6, 1920 – December 5, 2012)

His legendary status cannot be overstated. In a career spanning more than 7 decades, he has produced over 120 albums, has been awarded by the entertainment industry and by various states for his role in music history and has been an inspiration for hundreds of musicians and delight for thousands of music fans!

The great Dave Brubeck had died today, at 91, just one day before his 92nd birthday.

Luckily for us, when a great musician like Brubeck goes, they have this amazing collection of work that we get to keep forever and pass on to the next generation and the next. Without a doubt, Brubeck will continue to ring in the ears of fans and musicians for enumerable years to come.

Tonight, while I will keep things generally What Planet-like, I promise to deliver a tribute to the great artist. Tune in tonight from 4:00 to 6:00.
