LCD Soundsystem

Week by week, show by show, it gets a little colder. A little colder and a little crankier. Everything does it. Everyone gets there. Have you seen it in people’s faces yet, this season?

Fie on them, I say! Fie! Fie!

There’s still plenty of time to feel good about going outside or feel good about having to go outside just to get to another inside.

In fact, just 15 minutes outside each day can make you happier, more focused, more awake, and just all-around nicer.

Well, isn’t that nice?

After you’re done hanging out outside for a bit, come in and turn on your radio. Or, better yet, take your portable FM radio receiver with you on a long walk and tune in to 91.3 from 4:00 to 6:00 for some great music for a good walk.

Show #193 (I think) Playlist, etc. + Special Radiothon Edition

Radiothon 2013 Banner Prizes

It’s that time of year again here at Regina Community Radio. Day in, day out this station brings you the programs you’ve come to know and love. You know which ones they are.

Some of my faves include past programs like Regina’s Mighty Shores, Story Emporium, and Your Other Lover. Today, you catch me listening to Songwriter’s Loft, Borderlines, The Capital, A Deeper Well, and plenty of others. There are so many great programs on CJTR!

One program that I find myself listening to more than others, these past couple of years is the Friday morning show, Wake And Break. Great music, knowledgeable hosting, something good to listen to at the start the day… Well, in the spirit of Radiothon, I have a treat lined up. CJTR’s own Ben Valiaho, of Wake And Break fame and well known around the station and to listening audiences will be live in the studio with me, bringing that Valiaho charm and wit that you just can’t get at other radio stations.

Tune in from 4:00 to 6:00 for two hours of great music from both Ben’s collection and some gems that I’ve been saving, from mine. You don’t want to miss this!
